Man charged with murder in Bay Minette shooting
SUMMARY: A 37-year-old man, Dwight Pway, has been arrested and charged with murder in connection to a homicide that occurred last night in Bayonet. Police responded to a shooting on East Banyan Street around 8 PM, where they discovered a man with a gunshot wound. He was transported to a hospital but later succumbed to his injuries. Authorities reported that the shooting stemmed from an argument between Pway and the victim, whose identity has not yet been released. Pway is currently booked in the Baldwin County jail awaiting further legal proceedings.

Cooler air moves into Alabama forecast next week, while the tropics remain mostly quiet
SUMMARY: WVTM 13 Weather reports a pleasant day across Alabama, currently with mid-50s temperatures in Gadsden. Tomorrow’s pumpkin picking weather looks ideal, starting in the upper 40s and reaching the mid-80s by afternoon with plenty of sunshine. A cold front is expected to move in, dropping temperatures to the 60s on Monday and 40s by Tuesday morning. Highs will be in the mid-70s on Monday, cooling to the upper 30s by Wednesday and Thursday mornings. Tropical activity remains low with minimal chances of development in the Atlantic. Expect a significant drop in temperatures as the week progresses.

First-Ever Agricultural Center To Be Built | October 12, 2024 | News 19 at 6 p.m. Saturday Evening
