Biloxi Fire Station 5 to soon undergo renovations, receives $5 million dollar bond
SUMMARY: The city council approved a multi-million dollar bond to fund renovations for City First Responders, specifically station five of the fire department on Pass Road and Bay Vista Fire Department. The bond will provide up to $5 million, with nearly $2.5 million focusing on the Bay Vista Fire Department. The renovations will include expanding living quarters, increasing the facility's size to accommodate more trucks, and improving overall operations. Additionally, the city is considering purchasing a warehouse to consolidate storage and training facilities for police, fire, and Parks and Recreation departments. The project aims to improve emergency services and better serve the community.
More space for operations is coming soon to Biloxi Fire Station 5 on Pass Road.

More than 30 teams come out for 4th Annual Heroes at Fallen Oak Golf Invitational
SUMMARY: The Heroes at Fallen Oak Golf Invitational brought together over 30 teams of First Responders for a day of golf at Fallen Oak Golf Course. The event, organized by Keesler Federal Credit Union and the B rage, has been running for four years as a way to give back to those who dedicate their lives to serving the community. Keesler's president and CEO highlighted the importance of showing appreciation for First Responders before a disaster strikes. This year marked the fourth consecutive year of excellent weather for the tournament, providing a perfect day for the heroes to enjoy some downtime.
Gulfport FD took first place in the tournament, with Long Beach PD finishing second and Harrison County FD coming in third.

Wicker, Ezell lead resolution marking anniversary of the establishment of the Seabees

The history of Mississippi CBS dates back to 1942 when the first CBS were stationed in Gulfport for training before serving during World War II. Their dedication and service have made a positive impact on both the country and the world.
